Food Service at Barker Creek

We are able to provide free breakfasts and lunches to all students at our school. Free meals are available through the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) program and are based on the economic demographics of a school community. Please complete a family Free & Reduced form to qualify your family for additional resources and to help us secure state funding for this and other essential education programs. Complete the form through LINQ Connect or complete a paper form in the Barker Creek office.

Did you know that CKSD prepares special meals for students with life-threatening allergies? If your student qualifies, please fill out the Request for Special Dietary Accommodations form. The form helps Child Nutrition staff understand your child's medical need for a special diet, what foods they cannot eat, and what foods they should substitute. Please return the completed form to our school nurse or to Health Services. You only need to fill out this form once! When approved, your student's accommodation will stay with them until graduation.

Questions? Please call the CKSD Child Nutrition Dept. at 360-662-1090.

Medications at School

Please make plans with our office (360-662-2570) to drop off in-school medication for your student as soon as possible. Be sure to bring the medication in the container provided by the pharmacy and your doctor's order that contains the following information: the name of the student, a signature from the health care provider, and a parent/guardian signature. Students cannot transport their own medication, unless it is a self-carry medication. If the medication is to be stored in our office, it must be signed in by a parent or guardian.
