Barker Creek Community School

In the morning, students who live within Central Kitsap School District boundaries may ride a school bus from a stop near their home to their neighborhood high school. They may then board a transfer bus to Barker Creek. Use the district's route finder to find the nearest bus stop and time. In general, morning students will need to find alternate transportation to return home after classes. Many of our students utilize Kitsap Transit and students can pick up a free ORCA card at Kitsap Transit. However, students living in the Klahowya attendance area can ride a CKSD bus home from school via our Westside Loop. (Please see schedule below.)

Afternoon students have the option of riding a bus from Barker Creek to any high school, then riding a bus home from there. In general, students are responsible for finding transportation to Barker Creek. Many of our students utilize Kitsap Transit and students can pick up a free ORCA card from Kitsap Transit. However, students living in the Klahowya attendance area can ride a CKSD bus to school via our Westside Loop. (Please see schedule below.)

West Sound Tech Routes - Barker Creek students who attend a class at West Sound Tech may park at Barker Creek to be bussed to/from the West Sound Tech campus.
