Reminders to our Graduates & Families
-Our Graduation Ceremonies are being held at Newlife Training & Events Center at 9923 Poplars Ave NW, Silverdale, WA 98383, Wednesday, June 12th, at 11:00am and 2:00pm.
-All Graduates who plan to walk at Graduation must sign up for a ceremony time.
-11:00am Graduates should arrive to the Graduation venue at 10:00am. Doors will open at 10:30am for guests.
-2:00pm Graduates should arrive to the Graduation venue at 1:00pm. Doors will open at 1:30pm for guests.
-Immediately following the Graduation Ceremony, Graduates should turn in their gown in exchange for their diploma.

Barker Creek Campus -- Upcoming Closures
Barker Creek Graduation Ceremonies: The Barker Creek campus will be closed on Wednesday, June 12th. There will be no classes that day.
Juneteenth Holiday: All CKSD campuses will be closed on Wednesday, June 19th, in observance.
Summer Break: The Barker Creek Office will be open through Friday, June 21st (7:30am - 3:00pm) and then close for the summer. We will reopen
on Monday, August 19th. The first day of school for the 2024-25 school year is Wednesday, September 4th.
Medication Pickup
Please make plans with our office (360-662-2570) to pick up in-school medication for your student beginning at end of the last day of school. The
last date for medication pickup is Friday, June 21st. After that, medication will be disposed of per school policy and in accordance with state
regulations. Students cannot transport their own medication. It must be signed out by a parent or guardian.
Free Summer Meals for Students!
Bremerton School District offers all students 18 and under qualify for free meals over the summer, offered June 17th - August 23rd. View the schedule here for sites, times, and dates.
Library Notices
It is time for students to be looking for their lost library books and textbooks and return them to the library. If a student is moving or leaving the district this summer, please return Chromebook and charger. If staying in the district, please hold on to your Chromebook and charger for use next school year. If your student is leaving CKSD, please reference the following slides to ensure you've completed all the appropriate tasks before moving on:

We have several openings for Barker Creek students to work on the TLC side of our building doing administrative tasks. This is a paid position for students 16+ that can earn you credit as well! Employment will span the 24-25 school year. Shifts span 2 hours, with the opportunity for expansion.
