We share news and celebrate our students on Facebook. You can follow school news on Facebook @BarkerCreekCommunitySchool and Instagram @BarkerCreekCommunitySchool.
You can request to restrict the release of your child's photos and other directory information to the press, website, yearbook, and social media by requesting a Form 8 from the main office.
Social Media Policies
We encourage safe, positive interactions on social networks for both staff and students. We outline safe online behavior through district wide policies and procedures related to social media (4026 and 4026P) and digital resources (2022 and 2022P).

The district will not, however, remove otherwise permissible comments based on the user’s viewpoint on a topic or issue raised by the district. We do not agree with or endorse every comment people make or non-district links posted on our social media presences. Please know that any comment you make to the district on a social network is public. We may be requested to disclose it under the Washington State Public Records Act.
We understand that social media conversations can happen 24/7. However, please understand that we are not able to moderate at all hours. We may not see every inappropriate comment right away. We ask that you alert us and either ignore or respond politely until we can.
Please contact [email protected] if you have any questions about the district's social media policies.
