Now Accepting Applications: Student Representative to the CKSD Board of Directors
The CKSD Board of Directors has created a non-voting, advisory board position for up to two Student Representatives enrolled in a Central Kitsap School District High School. The role of the student representative will be:
-Provide student insight and perspective to the board and district administration and assist the board in understanding student issues.
-Serve as a liaison to the students in the district through the established student government and communication networks; and
-Report to the students about the work of the school district and the board.
Student representatives on the board are expected to attend all board meetings and may receive 0.5 general elective credit for each semester of board service and a non-numeric grade (P/Pass) will be assigned. Student representatives must be currently enrolled at a district high school and regularly attend board meetings to earn credit.
